CSE Career Fair 2024

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Moratuwa hosted its annual Career Fair on January 11th, 2024, with an additional online session on January 12th. The event provided students with valuable opportunities to explore career paths and connect with industry professionals.

The physical event took place from 9 am to 5 pm, featuring 33 companies. The morning session was dedicated for scheduled interviews while an open house was presented in the evening session, where students could learn about career opportunities and the corporate culture. Walk-in interviews were also available throughout the day.

The online session on January 12th included 14 participating companies, offering students further opportunities to interact with recruiters and explore job prospects.

The event was organized by the CSE 19 batch, with support from the CSE 21 batch. Dr. Adeesha Wijayasiri coordinated company participation.

Renowned giants in the Sri Lankan tech industry including WSO2, LSEG, 99X, Sysco Labs, Code Gen, GTN, Cut+Dry, Ayu, and Pickme participated in the event.
Overall, the CSE Career Fair 2024 provided students with a platform to explore career opportunities and network with industry professionals, contributing to their future success in the field of Computer Science and Engineering.
