Washington Accord Re-Accreditation Successfully Completed

The Washington Accord re-accreditation visit to evaluate the Computer Science & Engineering Degree at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, concluded successfully on September 13, 2023 with the IESL awarding full Washington Accord Accreditation to the CSE programme. 

The interim report from the evaluation panel praised the degree program for its innovative and effective practices in both education and assessment. It also commended students and staff for their energy and commitment to the pursuit of high-quality education despite the current challenging financial conditions. Additionally, the report emphasized the high employability of CSE graduates owing to high levels of technical competence and abilities.

The successful re-accreditation underscores the department's dedication to maintaining high educational standards and its significant contributions to the field of computer science and engineering on a global scale.
